Inktegrity Challenge #1

Just a quickie... I found out from fellow blogger Nikki that her very talented friend has her own digistamps being launched... very exciting.   If you visit her blog at inktegrity.blogspot.com you'll find out more and get a free digistamp of the cutest candy corn just in time for halloween.

The challenge was to use her digistamp image, 1 designer paper, glitter and spots... Here's my entry.  I had fun!!!

Ok... so I used two DPs... but the spots element is from the second piece.  I'm pretty sure both DPs are from My Little Yellow Bicycle (last year's).  The gorgeous candy corn is the digistamp printed on saffon cardstock and coloured with my Tria markers in yellow and orange.  Then I added white craft ink to the tips and sprinked dazzling diamonds glitter on top.  The sentiment is from Martha Stewart and the ribbon is Cosmo Cricket (last year's too!). Then I added some 3D candy corn stickers I had just waiting for this project... wink!

Anyway, I wish Joni all the best in her new endeavor.  Of course I'll be following her blog now too!

Hugs and Good Night!

Mojo Monday 106

Ok... so I am home sick and have been for the last two days.  It was inevitable...my child returned to school... LOL.

Here is the card I created using the Mojo Monday 106 sketch.  It is actually addressed and ready to go to Claire Brennan over at Waltzing Mouse Stamps to congratulate her on her new online store.  Please go check out her store at http://www.waltzingmousestamps.com/ or her blog at http://www.waltzingmouse.blogspot.com/. She is super talented, sweet and well... an inspiration to show what a whole lot of love, support and passion can do.  Congratulations Claire!!!

There is a full panel that surrounds the card in Garden Green... I had a lot of fun with this card.  I used my Waltzing Mouse Say it with Style stamp set.  It's hard to see but I versamarked both the yellow and chocolate panels using the stamps from this set.  I just love it!

Enjoy!

Waltzing Mouse Challenge

Ok... this will be quicky!!! I hope I'm not too late!  Claire over at Waltzing Mouse is giving away six... yes SIX stamp sets as part of our her new release.  I just had to use my favourite stamp set and the colour green.... wheeeewwww....

Here are a few pics... then I will explain...

Ok... so I have to say that although I don't use it far enough my favourite stamp set is by Stampin Up and is called Always.  I have been a pretty loyal Stampin Up customer for the last 5 years but now I have to admit that I have outgrown them a little... sounds pretty elitist when you say it out loud... but I have since discovered PTI, StampingBella, Our Craft Lounge, Whimsie's Digis and of course Waltzing Mouse... which I can't wait to get my hands on the new sets... whether I win or not... I've already made things in my head... LOL.

I used SUs old olive, certainly celery and another darker green I forget the name of.  The designer paper is K&Company... you should see the rest of the package... modern, floral and cheery... anyway...

I used my spellbinders for the circles and scallop circles.  I finally broke out my heat and stick powder for my olive fine glitter...

I used the banner technique for my little sentiment at the bottom (Thanks Joanne!)  and glitzed it up some more with ribbon and other bling!

I love the card...and I hope Claire does too!

Wish me luck everyone!!!

A Moxie Fab Christmas...

Ok... so my hayfever was H E double hockey sticks this weekend.  Another wonderful excuse to spend my holiday Monday at my craft table.  I was checking my blogger updates and noticed that I had TOTALLY missed that PaperCrafts Magazine was having not just one challenge but FIVE... Holy Cow!!!  You must check it out... Moxie Fab World.

Here is my entry for the Clean and Graphic Challenge... sorry about the photo quality... my camera's batteries were low...

This card is WAY outside of my comfort zone... you mean no ribbon...or distressing... oh my...

But I still had fun.  Card stocks are SU (Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss), DP is from Making Memories, Stamp is SU as well as the Rhinestone Brads in green clear and Red.

I wish the image quality was better... but oh well... the contest closes tonight... no time.
Onto the next category which is completely within my comfort zone... Vintage and Shabby Chic.  I had fun with this card.
The DP and Tag are from last year's FA LA LA line from Making Memories.  The cardstock is SU Kiwi Kiss and the sentiment is a SU Stamp that came with the Country Living Chrismas Ornament Kit.  I distressed the edges of the cardstock and DP with my distressing tool and then liberally rubbed Ranger Distress Ink in Tea Dye all around the edges.  Then I curled the two corners... Voila... shabby, chic and VINTAGE... whoot whoot.

For the Classy and Elegant category I completed this card:

It is SU cardstock in Bashful Blue and Going Gray with snowflakes stamped with Ranger Distress Ink in Broken China.  Then I took one of my punches and put holes along each side.  I threaded white ribbon over and under and tucked the ends underneath the card.  The shimmery HOPE is from Fancy Pants and is rubbed with Distressing Ink and adhered with Glue Dots.  I then punched the corners with an old Creative Memories photo corner punch and Voila... Again the photo quality sucks... sorry.

My last entry for the Moxie Fab Challenge is in the Fun and Cute Challenge.  I made a variation on this card last Christmas but gave it away... sniff... So I HAD to make a new one.  I have to say I just love it.

Just about everything on this card is SU except the little red frame around the word peace which is stamped on Very Vanilla carstock.  The Chipboard stars were inked with SU Classick Inks in Real Red and Old Olive.  Sooooo cute.

I hope these cards are Moxie Fab enough for the contest... if not at least I had a blast making them.

Hugs!!  Kel
